About Ashcroft Services
Ashcroft Services is dedicated to providing an excellent standard of buildings, roofing and maintenance services to all of our clients in the South West.
We work primarily with Councils and Social Housing Services offering a comprehensive range of services, especially relating to roofing renewal and replacement, refurbishment, void works and providing disabled adaptations to new and existing buildings.
Originally a family business, Ashcroft Services has expanded over our thirty-five years of trading and now employs over forty-five multi-skilled tradespeople. We have a firm belief in offering the best service to our clients whilst ensuring the highest levels of health and safety on site.
Ashcroft Services strives to make a difference.
An example is our ethos of vehicle pooling to save wasted fuel and emissions. and employing local operatives within the BS postcode areas. We also accept payments of up to £10,000 annually in the Bristol Pound to assist the wider economy of the City.
We are proud to be approved members of organisations such as the Federation of Master Builders, National Federation of Roofing Contractors, Confederation of Roofing Contractors, Competent Roofer and SafeContractor.
Ashcroft Services has an outstanding Health and Safety record with zero prosecutions in over thirty years and no fees for intervention.
Health and Safety is paramount in all of our operations. We have a visible management commitment to higher standards of health and safety achieved through monitoring performance and the continuous improvement of the health and safety culture. We prepare “Full Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans” for our projects, including all of the “Risk and COSHH Assessments and Method Statements” (RAMS).
We are also actively participating in a number of social value initiatives, including “Women in Construction” and “Back to Work” initiatives, encouraging a new wave of building and roofing experts through our apprenticeship programme.
